At the start of the next 2 rows cast off 6 (7, 7) sts.
For the next 2 (2, 3) rows knit the first 2 and last 2 sts together
(knitting into the back of the sts at the end of the row). Continue

TO MAKE UP
Without pressing, join the shoulders by laying the cast-off chain
edges on top of each other so they just overlap, with the right
sides facing up. Starting at the outer edge of the shoulder, stitch
in backstitch making the shoulder width 5 (6, 7) cm or as required.
Darn loose threads back into knitted seam.
Stitch side seams together in backstitch 1 stitch in from knitted
edge, darning loose threads back into knitted seam.
CARE
Wash by hand in lukewarm water with mild laundry soap (do not use
detergent or bleach). Rinse and squeeze, gently rolling in a towel
to remove excess water. To dry, lie flat and reshape. No iron, no
steam. Garment may shrink slightly, regaining form with wear. Fold
and store flat.
