independently or by coach. The following is just a suggestion of
an itinerary for a group of 10 or more - but it is just a starting
point for organising your Nundle visit.

Nundle Woollen Mill tour
Visitors enter the mill along a timber ramp to a mezzanine-level
factory shopfront selling woollen yarn, homewares and fashion garments.
From here visitors can access an observation deck traversing the
factory floor to view the day's activities from a safe distance.
This could be any stage of mill processing in which bales of scoured
wool are opened, carded, spun, twisted and wound into balls or reeled
into hanks. Retail shop and factory guided tour. Approx 3/4 hr.

Explore the village
Spend an hour strolling the village of Nundle, with craft and antiques shops all within easy walking distance. Visit Odgers & McClelland Exchange Stores in the original general store dating back to pre-Federation or next door at Jenkins Street Antiques & Fine China which is home to one of the largest Fine China Collections in Australia.

This heritage-listed courthouse is a reminder of Nundle's glory days. The Museum has a great collection worth visiting.

Originally the under takers shop during the gold rush days, this circa 1870's building has been restored and extended. A mine tour is a must, so is their coffee!
Arc-en-Ciel Trout Farm (02) 6769 3665
Situated high on the Great Dividing Range, nestled above the village of Nundle, Arc-en-Ciel have been hatching and growing the finest rainbow trout for more than twenty years. Atour of their operation is fascinating.
